Maryville Surgery provides a full range of services including but not limited to cervical cancer screening, Breast Examination and Breast Check referral, Infertility, menopause medicine, STI screening, etc.
Men’s Health
Maryville Surgery offers the full range of medical services for men of all ages. We focus on prevention rather than cure and our services include but are not limited to Prostate check, Peripheral Vascular Disease assessment, Stroke and Cardiovascular Risk Assessment, STI screening, Erectile dysfunction assessment and advice.
Children’s Health
At Maryville Surgery our nursing team are able to provide your child with all childhood vaccinations as per the HSE vaccination program. They will set out an action plan and remind you when your child is due.
Pregnancy Care
Maryville Surgery offers Midwife Led or GP Led care program. Nurse Anne Donnelly qualified from The National Maternity Hospital in 2004. All our GP’s and Anne have years of practical experience and will look after all your routine ante natal appointments and also your two week post natal check. The Mother and Child Scheme entitles you seven pregnancy related consultations free of charge.
Family Planning
We are happy to advise patients on types and suitability of various contraceptive methods. These methods include a full range of contraceptive advice including all methods of contraception and can provide both Implanon (implant) and Mirena coil insertion services.
Minor Surgery
We perform a wide range of minor surgery and procedures in house, avoiding the need to visit hospital.

Travel Vaccinations
A comprehensive travel medicine service is available to our patients with the most up to date information and practices in preventative medicine for the traveller. Our service includes full consultation regarding the country of travel and any other medications or services that may be needed. Maryville Surgery is an official Yellow Fever centre.
Health Screening
Comprehensive medical checks for men and women can provide peace of mind. Our service includes, but not limited to: Height / weight / body mass index, ECG testing, Pulmonary function test, cervical smear, blood pressure both initial and 24 hour monitoring available
Seasonal Flu Vaccinations
Maryville Surgery provides the annual flu vaccination.
Diabetes Care
Our specialist nurse provides a comprehensive service for diabetic and pre-diabetic patients including fasting blood tests, review of blood sugar levels and blood pressure monitoring, lifestyle advice, and ophthomology referrals.
Certificates and Forms
Forms to be signed by the doctor such as medical card application forms or social welfare allowance forms should be completed and handed in at reception. Please allow 48 hours for forms to be signed.
If a doctor has advised leave from work, Social Welfare Certificates and sick notes for work should be requested 24 hours before collection time.
Due to ever increasing demand, non-medical forms cannot be completed by the Doctor.
