For patients who are housebound or too ill to come to the surgery.

0402 39841 before 11:00am. The doctor may phone you first to decide whether a visit is needed and how urgently.
WHO CAN HAVE A HOME VISIT
- Home visits are for patients who are housebound or too ill to travel to the surgery.
- We can examine and treat you more thoroughly at the surgery, where we have the right equipment, so please come in if you can.
- The doctor will decide whether a home visit is needed, based on your medical condition.
- When you phone, please give as much detail as you can so the doctor can plan their visits.
OTHER CARE AT HOME
- Community nurses can visit you at home if your GP refers you.
- Public Health Nurses visit new parents after a baby is born, and families with young children.
Emergency? Phone 999 or 112.
For example: chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, a serious injury, or someone who is unconscious.
